Age... 6-8 million years old   Location... Dugway, Utah. Juab County

Composition... Rhyolite (exterior igneous rock), Agate, Quartz, and occasionally the minerals Chalcedony, Jasper and Opal can be found.

Dugway geodes formed from Volcanic activity where gasses trapped inside the molten rhyolite rock formed cavities where after millions of years of mineral precipitation formed the unique and stunning agate and crystal interiors.

Each geode you see is cut and beautifully polished bringing out the stunning patterns and colors in each unique and one-of-a-kind Dugway geode.
