Authentic and very unique mass mortality plate of Elrathia kingi trilobites found in the west desert of Utah. There are several whole and partial trilobites on the plate as well as some sort of fossilized algae remnants which adds to it's uniqueness.
It measures 8" wide and 7 1/2" tall.
A "Mortality Plate" is a frozen snapshot of a mass death assemblage.
