Authentic, high quality Peronopsis instricta trilobite fossil.
You will receive a Peronopsis trilobite anywhere in length from 1/4 - 3/8 inch (Peronopsis trilobites rarely get larger than this size) in size and similar quality to pictures. The size of the shale piece and where the trilobite is located on the shale can vary.
Peronopsis is often called the "Blind Trilobite". It is suspected that blind trilobites such as Peronopsis instricta, lived too deep in the sea for light to reach them.
