Unique mass mortality plate of Elrathia kingii and Peronopsis instricta trilobites found in the West Desert of Utah. On this plate, measuring approximately 11.5" tall by 9.5" wide and 3/4" thick, you can see 4 whole Peronopsis Trilobites and 12 whole complete and molt trilobites with many other inverted, imprints and trilobite pieces scattered throughout.
This is called a "Mortality Plate" because it is a frozen snapshot of a trilobite mass death assemblage.
